Ceylon Pepper

Pepper

Pepper

Pepper is the world’s most popular spice and is regarded as the king of spices. Ceylon pepper is derived from the fruit of the Piper nigrum plant. Ceylon Pepper is spicier and more intense than other varieties of pepper available globally because of its high piperine content. Pepper is primarily utilized for cooking, particularly in curries and various spicy meals. It is also utilized as a component in herbal cures and natural wellness items.

Black pepper is collected prior to the green berries of the Piper nigrum plant reaching full ripeness. The berries are subsequently cooked and dehydrated, leading to a spicier and darker pepper. Dried berries are prepared for cleaning using machines to eliminate dust, stones, and dirt. The sorting of berries is based on their size, color, and density, performed either manually or with machines. Grinding is performed using either manual grinding mills or mechanical grinding mills. The powdered pepper is ideal for packaging.

Black pepper

Black pepper

Black pepper is a spice derived from the dried unripe berries of the Piper nigrum plant. It is one of the most widely used spices globally, featured in a diverse range of dishes. Known for its strong, pungent flavor, black pepper adds both heat and depth, enhancing the taste profile of many foods.

White pepper

White pepper

White pepper is a spice made from the dried, ripe berries of the Piper nigrum plant, closely related to black pepper. Unlike black pepper, white pepper is produced by removing the outer husk of the peppercorn before drying, resulting in a milder flavor and lighter color. It has a slightly sweet and nutty taste with a subtle hint of heat, making it a versatile spice in various culinary applications
High levels of piperine, an alkaloid, are responsible for the pungency and heat found in pepper. This compound gives pepper its distinctive spicy kick, making it one of the most sought-after spices worldwide for both cooking and food preservation

If you'd like, I can provide more details on its uses in medicine or dental care.

The antibacterial properties of pepper inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms that cause food spoilage. Because of this, pepper has long been used as a natural food preservative in many culinary traditions around the world.
